OBA is proud to support the "Tide" New Youth Contemporary Art Exhibition ( Young Artiest 【潮汐】新⻘年当代艺术展) hosted by Chinese Student and Scholars Association, Goldsmith, University of London. We believe in the power of art to inspire and unite communities. As a artist supporter, OBA has collaborated closely with the event organizers to enhance the media exposure of the exhibition.

The world’s leading contemporary art museum The Hayward Gallery at Southbank Centre commissions the global premiere of the monumental installation Cloud Forest, created by internationally renowned multidisciplinary artist and Oscar winner Tim Yip. Cloud Forest is an outdoor kinetic pavilion who’s canopy is made of recycled plastic in a ground-breaking process and a group of sixteen bronze sculptures.
The Southbank Centre is the most popular art venue in Britain. Covering an area of 11 acres, it has restaurants, bars, street food markets and spectacular riverside scenery.

Embodying his aesthetic concept 'New Orientalism', Tim Yip's work draws upon ancient cultures to reshape thinking about the future. Whether that be in projects such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), the Athens Olympics handover ceremony (2004) or his rendition of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring (2019) with director Yang Liping, the Academy Award-winning multi-threat leaves onlookers awe-struck through his approach to art, costume design, theatre and more.
